Congratulations to Mr. Bo He on Successfully Defending His PhD Thesis

We are delighted to announce that Mr. Bo He has successfully defended his PhD thesis on 12.01.2023. His thesis, entitled "Atomistic and Continuum Scale Models for Flexoelectric Nanostructures and Composites" is the result of years of hard work and dedication. The defense took place in room A501, Appelstraße 11A and was also available via online meeting.

In December 2022, a second doctoral student this year from Prof. Zhuang received their graduation certificates live on stage.

The PhD defense and celebration was held for Tran Quoc Thai, in the afternoon at 15:00 on 07.12.2022. Invitees either participated in person at the room A501, Appelstr. 11A, or joined the event by Zoom Online Meeting.

Congratulations to Thai! Thai will move to the US for his further research career.

A successful doctoral thesis is the crowning achievement of an outstanding performance in research. It is also testimony to the hard work, discipline, and perseverance shown by the author over the past years. Thai’s doctoral thesis is on “Isogeometric Based Simulation and Design of Microelastic and Microflexoelectric Structures”.
